Hello, I'm Paige Davis! I am currently attending Cal State San Marcos
in hopes to achieve a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies. Teaching is
my passion. I love knowing I can make a difference in children's lives.
Growing up in California, I
experienced some great teachers that never gave up no matter how
difficult the challenge may be. I lived in Temecula my entire life.

I then attended
Chaparral High School from 9th-12th grade. Go Pumas! I wasn't sure what
to do next or what I wanted for a career so I signed up for a community
college called Mount San Jacinto There I obtained two A.As. One in
Social Behavioral and Science and one in Humanities. During that time I
discovered I wanted to become a Elementary school teacher. I then
transferred to San Marcos and I'm currently in my junior year.
I have a good sense of technology, and I sometimes enjoy dissecting my computer.I like to learn about new technologies as they reach the public hand, but I refrain from buying a new i pads, macs, cars, etc.each time they release. It really cost to much and the technology breaks way to often (right out of warranty of course). I do make exceptions when I buy smartphones, and an occasional iPods if given to me as a gift.
College of Education Mission Statement

I grew up in Orange and we dissected a squid in the fifth grade also! I can still remember seeing the ink, being so terrified it was going to squirt me, gross. Also, I can't wait for that satisfaction of making a difference in students' lives; that may be one of the most exciting parts of becoming a teacher!

ReplyDeleteNice meeting you too!
DeleteYou girls are lucky. I only got to dissect dried up worms and frogs. They smelled really bad and were not any fun.
ReplyDeleteHey Paige, Kudos on the two AA's! I was once a Psych major and now have my AA in History and am completing my BA in History this semester, and also I am applying to Grad school to hopefully start in the fall for my Masters in History (American Imperialism).
